Psalm 19:1-6

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. (PAUSE)
*In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit
to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit, Three in One. Amen

*The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was
in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
For the privilege of prayer,
our hearts reaching out, touching the divine.
Word of Life, speak to us.
*For the privilege of service,
our lives reaching out,
letting your light shine.
Word of Life, speak through us.
Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done,

e il firmamento annuncia l'opera delle sue mani.
2 Un giorno rivolge parole all'altro,
una notte comunica conoscenza all'altra.
3 Non hanno favella, né parole; la loro voce non s'ode,
4 ma il loro suono si diffonde per tutta la terra, i loro accenti giungono fino all'estremità del mondo.(pausa)Là, Dio ha posto una tenda per il sole,
5 ed esso è simile a uno sposo ch'esce dalla sua camera nuziale;
gioisce come un prode lieto di percorrere la sua via.
6 Egli esce da una estremità dei cieli,

«Abiterò e camminerò in mezzo a loro, sarò il loro Dio ed essi saranno il mio popolo.

e separatevene, dice il Signore,
e non toccate nulla d'impuro;
e io vi accoglierò.
18 E sarò per voi come un padre

9 La vera luce che illumina ogni uomo stava venendo nel mondo. 10 Egli era nel mondo, e il mondo fu fatto per mezzo di lui, ma il mondo non l'ha conosciuto. 11 È venuto in casa sua e i suoi non l'hanno ricevuto; 12 ma a tutti quelli che l'hanno ricevuto egli ha dato il diritto di diventare figli di Dio, a quelli cioè che credono nel suo nome, 13 i quali non sono nati da sangue, né da volontà di carne, né da volontà d'uomo, ma sono nati da Dio.
Per il dono della preghiera, i nostri cuori corrono, parlano con Dio. Parola di vita, parlaci. *Per il dono del servizio, le nostre vite sbocciano, lasciando risplendere la tua luce. Parola di vita, parla attraverso la nostra stessa. vita.Matteo 6,9-13
9 Voi dunque pregate così:
"Padre nostro che sei nei cieli, sia santificato il tuo nome; 10 venga il tuo regno; sia fatta la tua volontà, come in cielo, anche in terra. 11 Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano; 12 rimettici i nostri debiti come anche noi li abbiamo rimessi ai nostri debitori; 13 e non ci esporre alla tentazione, ma liberaci dal maligno." Amen
