EUCHARISTIC PRAYERS
This prayer is a new composition which was written to provide some complementary images.
The Lord is here.
God’s Spirit is with us.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to offer thanks and praise.
It is right indeed that we should praise you,
God of love, our source and our fulfilment,
for you create all things,
and in you we live and move
and have our being.
Your wonder is manifest
in land and sea and sky.
When the times had at last grown full
and the earth had ripened in abundance,
you made us in your image for yourself.
And even though we turn from you,
again and again you call us to yourself,
and in every age, promise liberation.
As a mother tenderly gathers her children,
you embraced a people as your own
to rear them in your way of compassionate love.
From your own being you sent Jesus among us,
incarnate of the Holy Spirit
and born of Mary our sister.
Jesus revealed your care for all you have made,
and showed us your way of reconciliation.
Looking forward to the joy of new life
Jesus suffered the pangs of the cross
and in rising again
became the first-born
of the renewed whanau (family).
You sent your Holy Spirit
and gave birth to us your church.
Your Spirit stays to nurture and to guide us.
Now we join hands around your table,
and with all creation
we hymn your praise for your unending love,
as we sing (say),
Holy, holy, holy Lord,
God of power and might,
heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYERS
Il Signore è qui.
Lo Spirito di Dio è con noi.
In alto i cuori
Li eleviamo al Signore.
Rendiamo grazie al Signore nostro Dio.
È giusto ringraziare e lodare.
È davvero giusto che ti lodiamo,
Dio d'amore, nostra Fonte e nostro Compimento
perché tu crei tutte le cose,
e in te viviamo e ci muoviamo
e in Te ha senso la nostra esistenza
La tua meraviglia si manifesta sempre
in terra e mare e cielo.
Quando i tempi erano finalmente giunti a pienezza
e la terra era maturata in abbondanza,
ci hai fatto a tua immagine in te stesso
E anche se ci allontaniamo da te
ancora e ancora ci chiami a te
e in ogni epoca, hai promesso la liberazione.
Come una madre raccoglie teneramente i suoi figli,
hai abbracciato tutte le genti come tue
per allevarli nel tuo amore compassionevole.
Dalla profondità del tuo essere hai mandato Gesù in mezzo a noi,
incarnato per opera dello Spirito Santo
e nato da Maria nostra sorella.
Gesù ha rivelato la tua cura per tutto ciò che hai fatto,
e ci ha mostrato la tua via di riconciliazione.
In attesa della gioia di una nuova vita
Gesù ha sofferto i dolori e la morte di croce
e nel risorgere
è diventato il primogenito
di una rinnovata e nuova famiglia
Hai mandato il tuo Spirito Santo
ed egli ha dato alla luce per noi la tua chiesa. (ha partorito per noi la tua Chiesa..)
Il tuo Spirito rimane per nutrirci e guidarci.
Ora uniamo le mani attorno alla Tua Mensa
e con tutta la creazione
cantiamo la tua lode per il tuo amore senza fine,
dicendo
Santo, santo, santo Signore,
Dio forte e sovrano
cielo e terra sono pieni della tua gloria.
Osanna nell'alto dei cieli.
Beato colui che viene nel nome del Signore.
